Reading Response: In Defense of the Poor Image

I enjoyed this reading assignment, as the topic was pretty interesting. I also appreciated the clever section headers, as it really let the author's personality shine through. This notion that lower quality presentation is still perfectly acceptable as a way of displaying work was very interesting, and I found my self feeling the same way.

There's just something about watching older movies, whether they're the black and white films, or old VHS Disney movies. The crackling picture and added noise makes the films feel more alive in my opinion and adds to a feeling of nostalgia that you just don't get with modern High Definition clarity.

I liked this reading, and hope to look into this topic more in the future.
